Attractive offers for Non-League Day

Don’t forget to invite your family and friends to join in the fun of national Non-League Day at the New Manor Ground this Saturday – and take advantage of some great offers.
As part of a scheme being run across the country, we are looking to draw in extra support from those who may never have visited the New Manor Ground before to see Dan Partridge (pictured) and co line up for a home clash with Stocksbridge Park Steels.
All women, and children under the age of 16 accompanied by an adult, will be admitted free of charge, while male adults will pay just £5 on production of a valid Football League season ticket.
Not only that, but students can gain entry for just £1 with valid ID and the same goes for members of the armed forces.
Non-League Day has been arranged to coincide with the international break for many fully professional but, with England hosting San Marino at Wembley on Friday night, there is no need to miss Roy Hodgson’s team in action.
We are hoping that the ‘free’ Saturday’ will encourage those who normally go to watch the likes of Nottingham Forest or Derby County to drop in.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to profile the team and our facilities. We are dead set on turning this into a family club that is a key part of the community,” said our chairman Dave Mantle.
“We are already aware that we are a lot of people’s favourite ‘second team’ – with plenty of Forest and Notts County supporters coming to our games when they are not playing – and the more the merrier.
“This is not an exercise about making money. We just want to show people what we have to offer at the New Manor Ground.”
* Our Academy side are due to visit New Mills in the FA Youth Cup second qualifying round tomorrow night after last week’s scheduled game was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch. The winners will host Lincoln City.
