Robins wait on attacking duo

Kevin Wilson will decide how many new signings he needs to make for Ilkeston FC this summer once he knows the futures of Sam Duncum and Francis Green.
The boss has already retained for us the services of a number of last season’s promotion-winning squad, with midfielder Laurie Wilson the latest to commit.
He hopes both winger Duncum (pictured) and striker Green will also stay at the New Manor Ground, with both currently considering contract offers.
When the pair have given answers, it will then be easier for Wilson to plot where the remainder of his budget needs to be spent.
“It’s ongoing with those two and we'll have to wait and see what they want to do,” he said.
“Sam is a player I want to keep, but I think he has had offers from other clubs.
“He may feel that he wants a fresh start, but he also knows exactly what we are about and got back on track when he came back here after struggling for a while elsewhere.
“Franny is someone who may have been offered a job somewhere and it is a matter of what happens with that.
“There will be signings, but how many is dependent on what those boys decide to do."
Top of Wilson’s shopping list is a goalkeeper and he is also keen to strengthen his striking options.
He added: “It might be that we have to wait until later in the summer, but I'm prepared to be patient.
“I will keep looking at what is available and I already have one or two irons in the fire.”
