Kevin Wilson


NAME: Kevin Wilson (Manager). DOB: 18th April 1961. BORN: Banbury.

Enjoyed a hugely successful career as a player, scoring almost 150 goals for the likes of Notts County, Derby County, Chelsea and Ipswich Town and winning 42 caps for Northern Ireland. He has been at the New Manor Ground helm since the club were re-formed in 2010, having previously been in charge when Ilkeston Town went into liquidation. A first season back at senior level in 2011-12 saw him guide us to promotion through the Evo-Stik NPL Division One South play-offs after a 2-0 victory over Leek Town. Now intent on establishing us at the higher level, he is also determined to set up a production line of young players through a strong Academy system.

01 Rob Peet


NAME: Rob Peet. DOB: 11th October 1992. BORN: Melton Mowbray

The 20 year old shot stopper is a former Leicester City trainee who has had spells with Grimsby Town and Hull City, although the young keeper spent last season at Hinckley United before joining Kevin Wilson's Robins in the summer of 2013 and is expected to heavily feature in the first team in the 2013/14 Evo-Stik Northern Premier League campaign.

02 Rob Kozluk


NAME: Rob Kozluk (Defender). DOB: 5th August 1977. BORN: Mansfield.

Predominantly a right-back but who can feature elsewhere, the former England under-21 international has played in the Premier League and made over 350 Football League appearances in all for the likes of Derby County, where he was a trainee, Sheffield United, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Port Vale and Bradford City. Signing on at the New Manor Ground in January 2013 after being released by the Bantams in the summer of 2012 and having spells training with Burton Albion and Chesterfield, he is to assist Kevin Wilson and Darren Caskey in the coaching of the Academy players, alongside his playing duties.

03 Ryan Wilson

NAME: Ryan Wilson (Defender). DOB: 4th March 1993. BORN: Derbyshire.

Son of manager Kevin Wilson, Ryan Wilson plays left back although he can accommodate several roles across the pitch. Previously an apprentice with Stockport County, he represented Northern Ireland at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 levels, scoring against Malta in the European Under-17 Championships.

04 Laurie Wilson


NAME: Laurie Wilson (Midfielder). DOB: 5th December 1984. BORN: Brighton.

Laurie Wilson has been an ever present influence at the club having spent two spells at the club. The midfielder has this season been made club captain by manager Kevin Wilson being deemed a good role model for the younger players at the club.

05 Matt Baker


NAME: Matt Baker. DOB: 3rd December 1993. BORN: Nottingham.

Talented young centre back Matt Baker came through the Leicester City academy, joining the Robins at the age of sixteen breaking into the first team squad towards the end of the 2011/12 season. He signed a contract with the club earlier on this summer.

06 Joe Maguire

NAME: Joe Maguire (Midfielder). DOB: 23rd September 1991. BORN: Sheffield.

Maguire Started his footballing career with Barnsley at the age of eight and spent four years with Sheffield United but it was with Scunthorpe United that he did his apprenticeship. Since joining the Robins he has impressed many and was voted last years supporters player of the season following a string of impressive performances. Maguire signed a contract extension earlier this summer to extend his stay at the New Manor Ground for another year.

07 Callum Chettle


NAME: Callum Chettle. DOB: 28th August 1996. BORN: Nottingham.   

Son of former Nottingham Forest player Steve Chettle, the young central midfielder has recently broken into the Ilkeston first team at the end of the 2012-13 season after impressing in the academy. Chettle began his career at Nottingham Forest where he stayed up until under 16 level, upon being released he followed in his fathers footsteps and joined Ilkeston.

08 Danny Gordon


NAME: Danny Gordon. DOB: 20th October 1993. BORN: Mansfield.

A promising young midfielder who came through the club’s Academy to earn his chance at senior level in April 2013. He netted twice on his full debut in the 3-2 defeat at Kendal. Formerly on the books of Chesterfield.

09 Aaron Hooton


NAME: Aaron Hooton (Striker). DOB: 18th April 1990: BORN: Nottingham.

Physically strong and powerful front man signed from East Midlands Counties League side Basford United in September 2012 after impressing and scoring a rush of early-season goals for the Nottingham side, Upon arrival at the New Manor Ground he became a fan favourite scoring plenty for the Robins.

10 Antwan Russell


NAME: Antwan Russell (Striker). DOB: 6th November 1986. BORN: Bermuda.

The young Bermudian international signed for the Robins at the end of March 2013 having tried his luck in both the US, with Chicago Fire, and Canada, with Toronto FC, before making the move to Derbyshire. He played extensively in the Bermudian Premier Division for the likes of PHC Zebras, Dandy Town, Somerset Eagles and, most recently, Robin Hood.

11 James Reid


NAME: James Reid (Striker). DOB: 28th February 1990. BORN: Nottingham.

Reid is a former Nottingham Forest youngster who played for Hinckley Town before moving to AFC Telford. He spent a month on loan to Ilkeston FC before becoming a permanent signing in February 2012. The striker can also boast international caps as he played for the national team at youth level.

12 Matt Richards


NAME: Matt Richards (Midfielder). DOB: 1st December 1989. BORN: Derby.

Matt Richards came through the youth set-up at hometown club Derby County but failed to make a senior appearance from the Rams, nor his next club Wycombe Wanderers, but did make one loan appearance for Notts County. Eventually moved to Spain to play with the Glenn Hoddle academy before returning to England to sign for Ilkeston FC in November 2011.

14 Kane Richards


NAME: Kane Richards (Midfielder). DOB: 16th June 1994. BORN: Derby.

Cousin of Matt Richards, the teenager joined the Robins February 2013 on non-contract terms after his release from Championship club Derby County. He spent a loan spell at Matlock Town in the early part of 2012-13. In the summer of 2013 Kane signed a new deal with the Robins which saw the pacey winger sign on for a further year.

15 Ellis Storey


NAME: Ellis Storey (Defender). DOB: 27th November 1993. BORN: Nottingham.

Drafted into the senior set-up by Kevin Wilson in September 2012 after coming through the club’s academy set up, the teenager has grabbed the opportunity with both hands with some impressive performances in the middle of the back four.

16 Jason Stokes


NAME: Jason Stokes. DOB: 23rd Feburary 1991. BORN: Birmingham.

Ilkeston's latest summer signing Jason Stokes has really impressed since linking up with the Robins scoring 5 goals in his first 4 pre season friendlies including a goal against Chelsea. The former North Ferriby man has spent time at several club's including a spell in the Belgium League playing for Royal Racing Montegnee and in the Great Lakes Premier Development League in the US playing for Michigan Bucks.

17 Michael Williams


NAME: Michael Williams. DOB: 24th Spetember 1993. BORN: Boddlwyddan, Wales

The youngster took the same route as Robins midfielder Danny Gordon joining the side after spending his earlier years at Chesterfield. After leaving the Spireites Williams was part of the Ilkeston academy where he flourished, he was handed a contract at the start of the 2012-13 season.

18 Scott Low


NAME: Scott Low. DOB: 22nd August 1992. BORN: Derby.

A product of the Ilkeston FC academy Scott Low has impressed on the occasions that he has played in the first team squad for the Robins and will be looking to get into there once again this season.

19 Gary Ricketts

NAME: Gary Ricketts (Striker). DOB: 13th July 1975. BORN: Nottingham.

The talismanic striker became Ilkeston FC’s first-ever professional signing in June 2011 when he rejected offers from higher-level clubs to link up again with Kevin Wilson. Goals - and controversy - have always featured prominently throughout his colourful career after starting out with Arnold Town and including Hucknall, Tamworth, Nuneaton and Hinckley among a long list of clubs. He top scored with 23 last year to become a key component of the promotion-winning squad. That won him a place in the Evo-Stik Division One South ‘Team of the Year’ and he has since agreed a new one-year deal.
